For bloggers and companies that are truly going to be social online having a gravatar is a must. What is this and why would you want one? Well, it basically puts your face with your comment – which you should be leaving on blogs to a) be social b) make friends c) build back links and d) help build some traffic your way. I always suggest having 5-10 links that you use and leave for your website when you comment at a blog. Ususally these are quality well written posts that you want others to read and leave comments at. Another great tip is to leave your website URL with a post that is related to the one you are reading. For example, if you are reading about chemicals in bath soap and you have a similar post leave this URL.
Get your FREE gravatar, download pictures from your computer or the internet and crop the photos with the free program.
